How we handle your details

This is a draft for the test website. The organiser must approve the final notice before the website goes live.

What we ask for

We ask for your full name and phone number. Email is optional. We use your phone number to stop the same person registering twice.

How we protect your phone number

We lock your phone number with encryption so approved administrators can use it for event support. We also save a separate protected computer code to stop repeat registration. Your name, phone number, and optional email are private and should be available only to approved administrators.

Your event code

We show your full event code once. We save only a protected version of it and its last four characters. This means we cannot show you the full code again, so please save it.

Website analytics

If you allow analytics, we may count visits and form use. We do not send your name, email, phone number, form answers, registration ID, or event code to analytics. You can still register if you say no.

How long we keep your details

Before launch, the organiser must state how long your details will be kept and how you can ask to correct or delete them.
